While going through the entries of the Guestbook, I noticed a change that occurred on July 2, 1960. Previously names and dates of those who stayed at beach house were written in and occasional thank you was also written. On July 2nd, Rosa Lutz started keeping journal of her stays at the beach house, her travels and her visitors.
I will be taking pictures of each of the pages and including them with my transcribing of the text that I can decipher.
I want to start with her journal entries. They are the most interesting

Newport Beach 1960 *
June Hilda Margie + Phylles and I were at the Beach for two days.
July 2th Hilda Margie and Phyless came to the Beach had durchander - Howard & Hele Larry Marilyn Randy Loralyn came for the 4th and then we went home on the 5th of July.
July 7 Florence brought Maggie and me to the Beach. Helen came a few evenings and on Sat. we had Ted, Marilyn and T R for Sat supper and Marilyn stayed with us all night and on Sun we all went home.
On the 19th of July Larry brought Marilyn the children & me to the Beach we stayed unitll Sat evening . Howard & Helen came and stayed with me until Monday the 25.
